mitOhni – ein KonzerTanz für drei Körper

The opening sounds the legendary Bacchanale by John Cage – soundless: mitohni! Three performers – like a string trio, but with their bodies as instruments – enter the stage in musician’s black and sit in trio formation in front of their notes.

After 25 years on stage, Philipp Egli returns to his dance roots. Fascinated by the shaping of dance, as he experienced it with ROSAS in the 90s, with “KonzerTanz” he creates a loose series of events in which the movement is the main actor. Each piece of the series takes place concertante: without stage set, costume and light design. The work as the focal point.

The dancer is a player of scores – not a dancer to music!
